eSAF stands for eVolvity Speech Application Framework (SAF) is designed to automate most of the Speech application development process. Using this framework drastically reduces the application design and developing. As the framework implements the speech application intricacies, an application developer can just concentrate on the business processes and application callflows.
By defining the application callflows in the eSAX format (which is in clear text xml), the eSAE (eVolvity Speech Application Engine, pronounced as eesee) would pick up these flows in runtime and execute them as the callflows presented to the caller.
eSAF is available in Java and .net flavors. In java the front-end is call flow vxml is rendered using JSPs and a front controller servlet. In case .net, it happens via .aspx pages.
